The Ojyu, a traditional stacking box used for the New Year’s celebratory meal in Japan, was crafted using original Japanese Maple wood, and handblown glass reminiscent of clear, moving waters. With Peter Ivy’s signature glasswork touch, the Ojyu’s natural wood along with the water-like glass panes makes you feel one with nature by simply looking at it. A mark of a true master is when his art transports you to another place in your mind, even with a simple item as a stacking box.

Care: Hand-wash with a gentle soap and water.Not water tight so liquids are not recommended to be used in the dishes to be served. Occasionally the wood should be dressed with oil (any cooking oil can be used) to keep them from drying and to rejuvenate the original sheen of wood.
